I visited only some of the places due to lack of time but I will be guiding you about the places you can explore by your side if you have time in your hand.
The places I visited were Coffee museum, Linha Turistica de bonde and Enseada beach.
Inaugurated in 1998, the Coffee Museum is one of the main touristic attractions of the City of Santos and has as main purpose to preserve and make known the history of coffee in Brazil and in the world.
The distance of the museum from the port of Santos in nearly 1.5 Km So, can have a taxi and the charges will be as near to 4-5 dollars.I prefered walking As you are aware of the fact about my love towards walking 😉
Very interesting history regarding how coffee moved from Brazil to the rest of the world. The interior of the building is beautiful. The plantation owners sat upstairs as the people on the trading floor bought and sold coffee beans.
Few expenses were spared with marble floors, stained glass, beautiful murals and inlaid wood floors. All of which has been well maintained.

Do not get excited about actually buying coffee beans there. This was a real letdown. expected fresh roasted beans and saw grocery store packages.
The final verdict for the place I can say that the place is small but overall an interesting place.
Linha Turistica de bonde
Loved our narrated ride on the old trolley car through the old city of Santos. We were able to see a part of the city we would have missed ! The narration was excellent!
The ride went inside the city and we were seating in an more than 100 year old tram.
The duration of the tour was around 40 minutes and it is a must tour if you are planning to visit the city.
If you kept the receipt with you you can get a discount for a shorter ride in an alternative cart.
It is highly recommended tour.
Great beach to walk by its extension and infrastructure. Since early it’s full of people.
20 Km from the coffee museum.
The kiosks serve good food and portions but the prices are a bit expensive. So it might feel heavy on your pockets
I have had a burger, As I was hungry and it cost me 25 dollars.
You will be facing problems if you are a vegan Some of the Indians don’t prefer porks but most of the dishes which where served here comprised of porks.
You will really have difficulty finding a veg food round the beach.
The sea is quiet and clean. Recommend to families with children as it has many things around.

I prefer more deserted beaches. And it was a crowdy place ,It was not my beach The way I like beaches to be calm ,clean not too many peoples chattering around .
No the place is very crowdy. And talking with the locals I came to know it is always like this. So, If you are in search of a calm beach far ways from the city chatters this beach is not for you .
I would suggest you to plan for canto de forte beach ,rather planning for Enseada beach.
You will have a great time if you are a peace and nature loving person .
I personally found it less crowdy and isolated compared to the Enseada beach.
REACHING SANTOS –
Santos city can be reached via Waterways as well as the flights, The nearest and the most convinient airport for santos is Sao paulo which is 75km away.
You can reach by road from Sau paulo as well as from Rio which is around 350 km from Santos.
Taking about food I would say brazil is barbecue champion of the South american countries ,So some barbecue food items are a must to try when you visit any brazilian City.
I would mention some food which you should give a try –
In Brazil, premium cuts (the most popular being picanha, or rump cap) are seasoned with no more than a liberal shake of coarse salt, before being grilled to pink perfection over charcoal (or wood, if you’re doing it the old-fashioned Southern way).
Moqueca (pronounced moo-kek-a) At its simplest, fish and/or other seafood are stewed in diced tomatoes, onions and coriander.
For vegans there are not so many dishes to try here again you have to struggle a bit if you are in search of pure veg food ,But there are few of them in the city in which you have have decent vegan food.
You will not find any vegan foods in the street food culture of brazil .
You will definetely have to visit Indian restaurants for this and mind you these are hard to find here.Below I will be suggesting you one restaurant in the end of the post, So that you don’t have to go through what we went.
Cachaça- this is brazilian national cocktail made from sugarcane juice and this is a must try for you and It’s my personal favorite.
If I would be visiting Santos again I will be definetely trying this juice again.
You can also plan to visit monte serrat and Tombo beach and some more beaches if you have few days more in your hands.
Talking about monte serrat It gives you a full view of the city Santos, You can ride up on a cable car and have a great view of the city. The duration of my stay doesn’t allowed me to visit the place but next time I will be definitely going to mount serrat.
So, This ends up my city tour focussing on the Not much talked city of Brazil Santos.
